Friends, this one comes to us from a dear friend of mine. She and her girls made two versions of this versatile dish for our last church meeting. This crisp could be a breakfast or dessert. Either way it’s easy and you can use any berry or fruit you find appetizing.
375* for 30 minutes in an 8 inch pan (this recipe is EASY to double)
(4 cups) blueberries, mixed berries or any berries. Also try sliced apples, pears and peaches. All are delicious!
3/4 cup packed brown sugar. (organic sugar should work fine here)
1/2 cup fresh ground flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup butter, softened. (or coconut oil)
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
