Another wholesome cake/bread made with all natural, health promoting ingredients. We eat this like cake and recently enjoyed it warm with freshly whipped cream. We used whole wheat, you can try kamut or another whole grain like spelt.

Pre-heat oven to 350
1 stick soft butter
½ cup plain yogurt
2 cups freshly milled flour (wheat, kamut, spelt, etc.)
1 tsp. baking soad
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 cup maple syrup
½ cup molasses
1 cup apple sauce (core and blend apples with a little water)
½ tsp. sea salt
¾ tsp. ginger
Place in a greased 8 * 8 inch pan.
Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes.
