Small easy to eat veggies: Cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, snow peas, sugar snap peas, carrot sticks, bell pepper slices, celery sticks, broccoli or cauliflower pieces, cucumber slices, squash sticks and asparagus. Something to dip the veggies in. . .raw almond butter, ranch dressing or something equivalent, Italian dressing, tahini or hummus in various flavors.
Homemade bread, rolls, cinnamon rolls, bread sticks, pretzels, yummy croutons. Italian herb bread.
Dehydrated or baked treats: apples, bananas, chips (potato & sweet potato, root vegetables) Wholegrain crackers with a tasty spread (almond butter, tahini, vegetarian cheeses) Blue corn chips, guacamole and/or salsa. (TIP: Use a dehydrator that has a temperature gauge so you can keep the temperature below 110 degrees) Stay away from fruits dried with sulphur dioxide.
Fruits: bananas, apple slices, peaches, pears, avocado, raisins, dates, oranges (ready to eat), grapes. Fruits are the original FAST FOOD! Hooray for fruit!
Seeds & Nuts: make a trail mix and bag it into snack bags, see/nut bars, too. Or just bags of pecans or almonds, etc. Pumpkin seeds.
Medjool Dates with nuts tucked inside or almond butter & finely ground coconut. Absolutely a favorite at our house!

Fresh fruit or vegetable juice. Use a thermos bottle if you are on the run.
